Wes Anderson has been busy with Roman Coppola. The duo have previously written The French Dispatch together (and it was a success, making waves and cementing Timothée Chalamet’s status as a versatile young actor in Hollywood) and this year, another one of their films is slated to be released — Asteroid City. And lookit, United International Pictures have dropped the trailer for it, too!
Set in a fictional American desert town in the 50s, the film follows a series of events that occur at the annual Junior Stargazer convention in 1955. Sci-fi elements are also introduced, with what seems to be hints of alien appearances…
And responses are looking great!
If like any previous film by Wes Anderson, this film is guaranteed to be quite a quirky one (in a positive way)

I can’t wait! Wes Anderson films are my favorite ? When I’m having a bad day or going through something difficult my go-to move is putting on Royal Tennenbaums, Grand Budapest Hotel or Moonrise Kingdom.
