Zhong Shanshan, also known as the ‘Lone Wolf’, has been crowned Asia’s richest person, surpassing the likes of Mukesh Ambani and Jack Ma.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, his wealth surged this year from US$70.9 billion to US$77.8 billion, making him the 11th richest person on the planet.
By extension, this makes him the richest person in Asia for the time being.
