Bukit Aman asked 45 questions about Musa Aman video, says Fahmi Reza

Graphic artist and social activist Fahmi Reza said Bukit Aman police asked him 45 questions about his Kelas Demokrasi video on Sabah governor Musa Aman when he was questioned by them today.

Fahmi said he was asked about his intentions in creating the video and whether he intended to influence Sabahan voters in the Nov 29 state election.

“I answered that the real purpose of the educational video is to share knowledge and raise awareness of democracy.

“I also said that Sabahans are smart enough to make their own decisions,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Fahmi also told the police that the controversial caricature of Musa, which he drew last year, was created in response to amendments to Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act that decriminalised satire and parody.
