Dream Drop Distance’ Laid the Groundwork for the Series’ Future


Upon its release, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance was received with a lukewarm response. Anxious fans hated the fact that it wasn’t the true Kingdom Hearts III they had been waiting for years.

 

Since Kingdom Hearts II’s release in 2006, fans had to wait quite a while before the big finale, which resulted in the release of a handful of entries on a myriad of consoles and platforms.
