More controversies has risen from the dead for Ellen DeGeneres!

The Ellen DeGeneres Show star is now under heat for an old tweet she once posted.

The tweet dated back to 2009 resurfaced online and has gone viral since- with fans understanding differently to the meaning of its post in light of the recent controversies surrounding the talk show host.

“I made one of my employees cry like a baby on today’s show,” adding, “Honestly, it felt good,” Ellen tweeted.

The tweet was originally a reference from one of the shows segment where Ellen surprised her long-time staff, Jeannie Klisiewicz, with a cruise.

But, because it didn’t come in that context on Twitter, people have misunderstood and reacted to the resurfaced post, calling out the 62 years-old star.
