Marvel’s film Eternals was largely anticipated by fans and audiences, especially with the fact that it holds a stacked cast ranging from Barry Keoghan, Salma Hayek, and even Angelina Jolie herself.
However, the reception wasn’t too great and was penned by critics as unfavourable. However, according to Kumail Nanjiani (Migration, The Big Sick), the negative reviews have nothing to do with the quality of the movie.
“I think there was some weird soup in the atmosphere for why that movie got slammed so much, and I think a lot of it doesn’t have to do with the actual quality of the movie,” he said.
Eternals is a superhero movie about all-powerful ancient aliens who finally come out of hiding in order to protect Earth from their evil counterpart, the Deviants.
