This is how you keep a beloved franchise alive!
Jurassic World: Rebirth is our seventh foray into the Jurassic universe full of majestic dinosaurs, and just like its predecessors, it has kept its sense of wonder and visually striking cinematic frames.

This one brings forth a team of military and pharmaceuticals to a forbidden island, in order to extract samples from three species of dinosaurs for a medical study, which holds the potential development of a medical drug that could prevent coronary heart disease.
Mahershala Ali portrays the charismatic soldier Duncan who internally struggles with grief, while Jonathan Bailey completely disappears into his against-type role as a quirky and passionate Dr. Loomis. As for Scarlett Johansson, she shows us moves we know she already has as Black Widow, but her character Zora exudes equal balance of strength and vulnerability as a soldier struggling with PTSD.
We also have a side plot involving a civilian family who got attacked while on a boat, with Manuel Garcia-Rulfo playing the patriarch to two daughters. His character Reuben, and his family (including a hilarious, spoiled boyfriend to his elder daughter) gets shipwrecked in the waters by a Mosasaurus, and gets rescued by the team. And in a turn of events, they end up getting strapped in along for an adventure to the forbidden island of dinosaurs.
And speaking of the remote island, the scenery is breathtaking and adds to an immersive experience. This, combined with the background score, truly elevates the magical wonder of seeing dinosaurs roaming about their natural habitat. And the CGI’d dinosaurs are also marvelous – even cute little Dolores.
So head over to your nearest cinema and let’s hear these dinosaurs roar!
