ARMY rejoice! Riding high on the success of “Dynamite”, BTS has announced that they will be releasing their fifth studio album (and THIRD full-length released this year) in November!
The seven-member phenomenon has now released the tracklist for their upcoming album! The album is to contain eight different tracks, with ‘Dynamite’, ‘Life Goes On’, ‘Fly to My Room’, ‘Blue & Grey’, ‘Skit’, ‘Telepathy’, ‘Dis-ease’ and ‘Stay.’ The second image revealed includes the English text:
“Life goes on / Like an echo in the forest / Like an arrow in the blue sky / On my pillow; on my table / Life goes on like this again.”

In line with the vibe of ‘Dynamite’ as well as their Season’s Greetings DVD preview, it seems like the boys are taking fans through blasts from the pasts. The disco/retro/90’s era influences are not-so-subtle and could be a big hint in the direction of the album. After all, in an interview with the Rolling Stone, Rap Monster confirms that “the lead single is usually the song that [they] feel best embodies the overarching theme of the album”. Meanwhile, the group announced the album with the release of the concept photo. In the photo, the boys are gathered around a table, surrounded by a rather traditional set up of musical instruments and dressed in casual disarray.

The members’ individual concept photos have also been released, with gorgeous visuals from their new album artfully arranged on their Instagram account.
It is said that all seven members took part in the creative process for this album, from the music to the concept, designs, and more. Simply titled, “BE”, the album is set to drop on the 20th of November, with pre-orders having already started on the 28th of September. It is said to be a “deluxe edition” album.

According to the announcement,
“The new album imparts a message of healing to the world by declaring, ‘Even in the face of this new normality, our life goes on.'”
“For this album in particular, the septet took a step further and was involved not only in the music making process, but also in the overall production: concept, composition, design, etc. It reflects the thoughts, emotions and deepest ruminations of BTS while working on the album. This new project offers an even richer musical spectrum experience as well as the most ‘BTS-ish’ music yet.”
As of yet, BTS had been appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” from the 28th of September until the 2nd of October. Not only did they perform on the show, but they brought “comedy” with their quirky antics in virtual games. This was then followed by their online concert “BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E” on October 10 and 11.

Recently, Forbes announced that BTS had in fact risen to occupy “half of the world albums chart” with albums like ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ (currently ranked number 1) followed by ‘Love Yourself: Answer’, ‘Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey’ at number 5, ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’ at number nine and finally ‘Love Yourself: Tear’ in the 10th spot. The report goes on to share how ‘Map of the Soul:7″ has managed to maintain its top spot at number one for a whopping 23 weeks, making it not only the “most successful title on the World Albums ranking, but one of the most popular full-lengths of any kind on any Billboard tally”. Not to mention the fact that “Dynamite”‘s debut at number one made them the first Korean artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 in the chart’s six-decade history.
So don’t be surprised if ‘BE’ shoots right up to the top of the Billboard charts when it drops! The boys have only just started dominating!
