While most of us keep a strict and meticulous skincare routine and make sure that we remove our makeup before bed, country icon Dolly Parton likes to keep hers on! And why??? In case of an emergency, because you never know what could go bump in the night. Parton also revealed that she ‘[doesn’t] wear sweat clothes’ at home, nor does she have her own apparel to stay comfortable in.
Instead of sweats, she said,
“(I have my) ‘house clothes’ that consist of ‘a little dress-type teddy, a long teddy, then I have a little jacket or shirt to match if I get cold.”
“I call them my baby clothes because they’re soft like a baby,” she added.
The famous singer-songwriter and hitmaker also stays a few steps ahead and likes to be well-prepared in cases of an emergency.
“(I do) all my beauty work and cleaning my face in the morning because I usually try to keep my makeup on at night,” she said.
“I never know if there’s going to be an earthquake or a tornado or a storm and I’m going to have to go out in the middle of the night!” she explained of her routine.
She jokingly continued,
“I don’t like to go home and just tear down completely, because my poor husband has to look at me. And in the morning when I get up I start all over again, put on my makeup and then touch it up throughout [sic] the day.”

We think that the legendary Dolly Parton looks absolutely fine both with and without makeup, as long as she feels confident in her look!
