It’s not your typical boxing match.
YouTube icon Logan Paul is scheduled to throw hands with 50-0 boxing champion Floyd Mayweather this coming June 6th, but the rules of the fight state that this contest will have no official winner.
While fans may be interested to see how this one unravels, especially knowing that it’s Logan going against one of boxing’s most successful fighters, it seems much of the hype has faded after the rules were revealed.

The rules were released by the Florida Commission yesterday (June 2nd) and it stated that the showdown will have no judges or official winner.
Understandably this disappointed fans as this would definitely affect the tone and vibe of the match. But there is still good news.
Despite the match merely being an exhibition, knockouts are legal and both fighters will battle it out without headgear and will be equipped with 12 oz (340g) gloves. The two icons will battle it out for 8 rounds, each being 3 minutes.
Mayweather vs. Paul rules, per Florida commission:
— No judges
— No official winner read
— Knockouts legal
— KO up to ref discretion
— No headgear
— 12 oz. gloves
— Eight 3-minute rounds— Marc Raimondi (@marc_raimondi) June 2, 2021
Even the YouTube star wasn’t very delighted to hear about the rules, but he was more than excited to find out that knockouts are allowed.

As you can tell from the rules and Logan’s reaction, a knockout will be top of the expectations list.
