James Charles Denies All Allegations Saying He ”Groomed” A Minor

Uh, okay. So, if you’re James Charles—or any famous Youtube beauty guru on that matter—you can’t simply run away from very scandalous rumours, right? Like, basically you have to deal with every single *new* thing that you had to find about you online.

Recently, James Charles faced new allegations saying that he ‘’groomed’’ an underage fan. Over the weekend, a TikTok user named Isaiyah, who is believed to be 16, posted a since-deleted video accusing James of sending him sexually-explicit messages and photos on Snapchat. James posted a statement on Twitter, claiming that the allegations are “completely false.”

“There’s a video going around about me on TikTok and Twitter of a guy calling me a groomer and I want to address it right away,” he began. “The accusation that I have groomed this person is completely false.” He added that he added the fan who’s making these allegations on Snapchat, but that he was unaware of his age.

“The next morning, I woke up to several snaps from this person being excited I added him back, saying he loved me, and also lewd photos of himself in the shower,” he wrote, adding that he asked how old the fan was and that he told him that he was 18, so he continued to flirt with him.

However, the fan making the accusations is standing by his claims. “James we both know I blocked you, you never asked for my age,” he tweeted in response to James’ statement. “After I told you I was 16 you proceeded to ask me for nudes and said it didn’t matter. You called me hot and said ‘I wish the timeline could speed up so you can be 18.'”

Hmmmm, anyway.. please be careful if a well-known celeb decided to add you back on any social media because… you will never truly know a person. They could be very very different from what they portray to be in front of the camera. Jussayin’.
