The moment we’ve been waiting for! We can now witness Katy Perry performing live in Malaysia! (but um, only on our gadget screen). All thanks to E-commerce platform Lazada, which has unveiled a star-studded lineup for its Lazada Super Party, a virtual concert slated to be simulcast across six countries on March 26, 2021 to kick off its ninth anniversary celebration.
Katy Perry isn’t the only international star to perform at the concert, though. Korea’s number one youth boy band, NCT Dream are set to headline this year’s Shoppertainment-packed Super Party concert, sharing the stage with local stars such as Haqiem Rusli, Ismail Izzani, and many more.
Themed ‘Everyday Heroes’, the company said this year’s concert not only pays tribute to essential workers that have been working tirelessly throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, but also shines the spotlight on individuals in our community who have touched the lives of people around them, in their very own ways.
The performances will accompany consumers as they countdown to Lazada’s Surprise Birthday Sale event that starts at midnight on March 27. Lazada said consumers can tune in to the exclusive Super Party concert via Lazada’s in-app livestream channel LazLive, as well as local broadcasting networks Astro Ria, TV3 and social media platforms.
