Kylie Jenner Feels Devastated She Can’t Show Her True Personality On Social Media

With over 222 millions followers on Instagram and a bunch of camera crew following her everywhere for the last 14 years, you would think Kylie Jenner would have no problem sharing every facet of her personality with the public? But according to the reality star, it’s precisely that level of celebrity that’s led her to hide what she’s really like.

Recently, Kylie appeared on James Charles video at the same time promoting her new cosmetics collection. While chatting with the YouTuber, Kylie revealed “I think that I showed my true personality so long ago on Vine and when I first started Instagram. But as I got bigger and bigger, I just realized, like, I don’t know…when people used to say mean things about how I really am and my personality and what I love the most about myself, it would hurt me more than almost playing a character, not showing people everything. So yeah, I just started doing a little less, which is sad. It’s sad. It makes me sad.”

James revealed to his viewers that working with Kylie for the first time two years ago was “one of my favorite collabs that I’ve ever filmed,” and the Kylie Cosmetics CEO is actually very witty, fun, and always cracking jokes.

She replied, “Even for you to say, ‘You’re always so funny,’ that’s a bigger compliment to me. But I don’t know, it’s something that is so sacred.” Kylie added, however, that she definitely wants “to start doing more things” on her YouTube channel to highlight her personality, so fans could get more of a taste for her signature humor and wit in the very near future. Aww, Kylie.
