Yep, that song you used to sing along to in high school as you nurse your broken heart is 13 years old! It can only mean one thing: that we are growing old, too — and if we are, then so are the girls in the music video! And it looks like we’re not the only ones wondering where they are…
Miley Cyrus herself seemed to be looking to check up on the girls, and recognised that the power of Twitter will help her do just that. And she’s not wrong!

One of the girls, Mackenzie Stith, responded to Miley’s call on Twitter, posting a screenshot of her scene in the famous music video where she was clutching an elephant plush toy. She even included a recent selfie of herself for comparison!
Hayooo. Still in la. Acting in commercials and making some side cash on only fans lol pic.twitter.com/ZA8h1lqVXO

And in case you didn’t know, another one of the girls in the video is none other than soon-to-be Mrs Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz!
And future mom-in-law Victoria Beckham simply adores her!
And then we have Liana Liberato!
hiii mileyyyy @MileyCyrus ? thanks for letting me cry my 12 year old heart out! happy anniversary ✨ https://t.co/550Q9vTSpj pic.twitter.com/8R4KyR8aRy

Besides this music video, you may have also seen her as Kim in the tear-jerking film If I Stay as well as Kelly in To The Bone, to name just a few!
A fan answered Miley’s post, adding actress Carissa Alvarado to the list. The singer also jokingly mentioned her appearance in Miley’s video in a TikTok post.

Last but not least, Hunter King!
The Young and the Restless star, who’s also the sister of Joey King, is in the video, too! She reunited with Miley in the 2009 episode of Hannah Montana called “Judge Me Tender” as Bridget.
