Uh-Oh! Olivia Wilde FIRED Shia LaBeouf From ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Because…

While fans of the One Direction singer Harry Styles may be tickled pink by the announcement that the 26-year-old is set to star in a new movie (so much so that his HAIR made multiple headlines), more details about his predecessor to the role are surfacing.

‘Don’t Worry Darling’ – a psycho-thriller set in the 1950’s – directed by ‘House’ actress Olivia Wilde, had initially cast Shia LaBeouf as one of the lead roles for the movie. However, not long after, LaBeouf was replaced by Styles. Initial reports were that LaBeouf had to pull out of the movie due to ‘scheduling conflicts’. However, recently, Variety has reported that LaBeouf was actually FIRED from the role.

In their report, they stated:

“Though shooting had not started yet when LaBeouf departed, insiders close to the project say LaBeouf displayed poor behavior and his style clashed with the cast and crew, including Wilde, who ultimately fired him.”

They went on to share that while Wilde herself declined to comment, a source close to the film labelled him as  “not an easy guy to work with” and “off-putting”. This is probably why LaBeouf was replaced, as the source describes Wilde as someone with a “zero a**h*** policy” on sets.

It is to be noted that this all went down before singer FKA Twigs brought to light allegations of abuse during her relationship with LaBeouf. In a tell-all with the New York Times, Tahliah Debrett Barnett warned that LaBeouf “is dangerous”, after she endured physical, mental and emotional abuse at the hands of the ‘Transformers’ actor.

Twigs and LaBeouf dated for less than a year after meeting on the set of ‘Honey Boy’ before ending things in May 2019. While the actor has denied the allegations, sharing that “many of these allegations are not true”, he has also apologised.  After openly sharing her experience, Wilde publicly supported Twigs by reposting the New York Times article on her Instagram Story alongside the caption “love, respect, and support, @fkatwigs”. ‘Chandelier’ singer Sia, who also dated LaBeouf has also come forward, tweeting:

“I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single. I believe he’s very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away.”

At present, LaBeouf’s attorney has confirmed with Variety that they are looking for places for him to go to rehab so that he can get ‘the kind of meaningful, intensive, long-term inpatient treatment that he desperately needs.’
