One Direction star Liam Payne has called off his engagement to US model Maya Henry, less than a year after they announced it.
Liam and Maya have decided to go their separate ways, 10 months after announcing their engagement. The former 1D singer revealed his split from the young model on the latest episode of Steven Bartlett’s The Diary of a CEO podcast.
When asked if he’s single, the For You performer confirmed “I am indeed.” Liam, who shares son Bear with ex Cheryl Cole, added, “I feel like more than anything at this point, I’m more disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people.”
Ooof that sounds rough!

He went onto explain further that the split was “best for both of us,” and that it didn’t feel “good” to end things with Maya, but it “had to happen.”
The couple got together or, at least were spotted together in September 2019 and were engaged by August 2020. Maya has yet to comment about the split.
