Attention attention! To all Matthew McConaughey fangirls, wondering what it’s like to kiss him, apparently the answer is…very snotty. Well, according to her ex co star, Kate Hudson.
The blonde beauty made an appearance on Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop podcast (via People), and she spoke about her worst on-screen kisses. Gwyneth tries to start out positive by asking Kate about her favorite movie kiss, but it seems like Kate’s bad experiences stand out more.

“You know, I feel like I kind of haven’t had the best kissers. I feel like I should have had better ones.” That’s when she went on to say that her kisses with Matthew McConaughey left…a lot to be desired. “The thing is, every time I kiss McConaughey, it’s like, I mean, it’s like there’s just something happening and there’s like snot or wind, or things are just…. like when we were kissing in the end of Fool’s Gold, we’re like in the ocean, we like had the plane crash,” she said. “He just had snot all over his face.”
Should we believe Kate? After all, they’ve starred in everything from rom-com royalty How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days to Iron Man. But then she further claimed that kissing her Almost Famous co-star Billy Crudup was decent, musing “You know who was a good kisser, but you didn’t see it, cause they cut it out? Was Billy. Billy was good. That was good.”
Got it! Oh, and before we wrapped it up: Gwyneth said kissing Robert Downey Jr. also sucked: “Like with Robert, like when I kissed him and I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me. This is literally like kissing my brother.” Sighh, what a disappointment 🙁
