The Kardashians are no strangers to controversy and it seems like they have ‘struck gold’ once again.
Khloe, the youngest of the Kardashian siblings, ended up in hot water after she posted a video on her Instagram story promoting a Fidus one-gallon reusable bottle with motivational messages on the side. In one of the posts, she criticized people she had seen on social media who had apparently been pouring water from single-use plastic water bottles into the Fidus bottle, saying this “irks” her and “defeats the purpose” of helping the environment. Being proactive about her green effort, she instead encouraged people to buy “water filtration adaptors” to hook up to their sinks.
But individuals and some media outlets claimed she was a hypocrite as she and her family members are known for throwing lavish events that involve single-use items such as balloons — not to mention the stars are famous for loving elaborate flower displays.
Refusing to take the criticisms sitting down, Khloe took to Twitter to defend herself.
Oh my! LOL What drives me 🤪 is that people turn nothing into some thing. It must be a slow news day. I am constantly learning and trying to be better for the environment for the sake of my daughter. I am the last one to say that I’m super environmentally conscious because I know

Well, judging from the replies she’s been getting, it seems like half of the internet is sympathetic to her cause while some others remain indifferent to her statement.
Another user, however, called her out on her tone and said,
“It’s the way you say it though. Educate, don’t belittle others to make you look better.”
Drama aside, the one lesson we can all learn is that the Earth is dying and it is up to us to save it for the future generations. So let’s educate ourselves and start altering our lives in ways that will serve the environment — every little action counts!
