We’re Shook! The Actress From The ‘Haunting of Bly Manor’ Also Voices Peppa Pig

You learn new things every day and in today’s “WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!” moment – the creepy little girl in Netflix’s latest horror instalment, ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ is the same girl who voices the main character in the British preschool animated television series, ‘Peppa Pig’.

That’s right folks!

Since ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ arrived on Netflix, horror fans and critics alike have praised the follow-up series to ‘The Haunting of Hill House’. The Critics Consensus on Rotten Tomatoes dubs the series:

“It may not be as scary as its predecessor, but with plenty of spooky tricks inside its haunted halls and a strong sense of heart, The Haunting of Bly Manor is another solid entry into Mike Flanagan’s growing horrorography.”

However, it seems like fans are more interested in the fact that the alter ego of the actress that plays ‘creepy little Flora’ – Amelie Bea Smith – is actually cute little Peppa Pig, who spends her days learning new things in school and with her little dinosaur obsessed brother George. Netflix confirmed the news after speculation that Smith was behind the contrasting characters started to spread online.

While the voice actress behind Peppa Pig has changed over the years since its debut in 2004, Smith is the latest to play the role. She took it up earlier this year when Hailey Bird hung up her rainboots after 12 years as the spunky character.  Needless to say, the Twitterverse is having a field day with this new revelation:
