Horror comes home.
American Horror Story, an anthology horror series that has been running for 9 seasons, is birthing a spin-off series called American Horror Stories. Much like its predecessor, the latter promises a different horror story for each episode and just maybe, the famous Murder House from season 1 of American Horror Story will make its return as part of the show.
According to FX Chairman John Landgraf, American Horror Stories “is a weekly anthology series that will feature a different horror story each episode.”

A teaser photo of American Horror Stories shows the haunted Murder House looming in the distance, surrounded by dark clouds, crows and a blood-red field as the Rubber Man (or rather, Rubber Woman) looks on.
Fans of the first season of American Horror Story might recall the Rubber Man being worn by Tate Langdon (played by Evan Peters) as he commits murders and various other atrocities in the cursed house. The Harmons, a family of three, later moves in — the psychiatrist father, ex-musician mother, and grungy daughter Violet. Tate (despite being a ghost trapped in the house) becomes a patient as part of his mother’s ploy to help him resolve his issues so he could move into the light, but instead falls for Violet.
Sounds crazy? That’s only the half of it.
Earlier this month, creator Ryan Murphy took to Instagram to reveal the cast—which includes Glee‘s Kevin McHale, Pose‘s Dyllón Burnside, Riverdale‘s Charles Melton and The Prom‘s Nico Greetham—who would be leading AH Stories. Alongside a photo of the four actors, Ryan wrote, “The Fantastic Four.”
