The million dollar question in the year 2020, did Demi Lovato give back her engagement ring?
According to E! News, it’s been nearly 2 weeks since their split, Demi officially returned the sparkler to Max Ehrich earlier this week, according to a close source. The ring was initially valued at over $1 million, the rock Max popped the question with wasn’t actually brand new!
“Part of the ring was made from a diamond that was hers,” the insider shared with E! News. “Part of it was his.”
Demi and Max’s whirlwind romance began in March, during the COVID-19 pandemic where many countries were in locked down mode. Just a few months after the actor proposed to Demi in July.
And let the gates of scrutiny open, as Demi was bombarded with messages from fans, warning her that her fiancé, could be using the artist for fame. Though the pair gushed over one another on Instagram following the engagement, a source claimed that Demi’s family and friends were also warning her about Max and believed it was “best” for Demi to end things with him “sooner than later.”
Right after their public breakup, Max stated he learned of the split through the media which a source told E! News is untrue.
Currently, Demi is apparently done with the soap star.
