It’s no secret that every actor dreams of a chance to be able to hold that shiny, gold Academy Award, okay!! Because it leads to instant superstardom, a ton more film opportunities. Oscar-winner J Law shows her chopping skills as a teen in the film. When a teenager and her mother move to a little town, the girl finds out that an accident took place in the house at the end of the street. She ends up befriending the sole survivor of the accident.
4. The Rocker

Starring the ever so talented Emma Stone, Robert, an over-the-hill musician, gets a second chance just as he is about to give up on his dream after he is invited to join his nephew’s high school rock band.
5. Chapter 27
Jared Leto is undeniably one of Hollywood’s best method actors there is and he did not disappoint in Chapter 27. The film about killer Mark David Chapman in the days leading up to his infamous murder of Beatle John Lennon.
6. All About Steve
Sandar Bullock the Academy Award winner for Best Actress stunned in this film. Mary meets Steve on a blind date and immediately falls in love with him. When Steve does not reciprocate her feelings, she follows him all over the country to persuade him to change his mind.
7. The Invasion
In the early 2000s, Nicole Kidman hit a double whammy with two back-to-back Oscar nominations and The Invasion proved just why! A psychiatrist finds out about an epidemic that changes human behavior. She also discovers that her son might be the key to preventing this deadly epidemic.
8. Mother’s Day
Starring Julia Roberts… enough said! The film follows the lives of several mothers, who are dealing with personal issues in their own way, intertwine during the week leading to Mother’s Day.
9. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation
The film has seen the likes of a string of Oscar-winners, such as Renee Zellweger (Best Supporting Actress, Cold Mountain & Best Actress, Judy) and Matthew McConaughey (Best Actor, Dallas Buyers Club). While returning from their prom night, a group of teenagers meets Leatherface, who along with his family is notorious for his obsession of killing people.
10. The Rite
Sir Anthony Hopkins’ iconic role as Hannibal Lector in The Silence of the Lambs earned the British native an Academy Award for Best Actor. He showed yet again why he remains a legend, with The Rite, Michael, a seminary student, journeys to Italy to learn exorcism. There, he meets Father Lucas who changes the way he perceives demonic forces.
