It’s clear Putrajaya wants to fulfil court order on Sabah’s entitlement, says MP

There is no intention on Putrajaya’s part to delay executing the Kota Kinabalu High Court’s order in its Oct 17 ruling to conduct a review with the Sabah government and determine the state’s 40% entitlement, says Bangi MP Syahredzan Johan.

The DAP man said it was clear from the federal government’s words and actions that it intended to fulfil its constitutional obligation and the court order.

“The government will not appeal the court’s finding about Sabah’s entitlement to 40% of its revenue. This means the ruling is not disputed.

“The federal and state governments are obligated to comply with the Kota Kinabalu High Court’s order,” Syahredzan said in a statement.
