After a hard long battle between fans and Warner Bros, fans will finally be able to see the lost cut, the “darker” version of ‘Justice League’ that never made it to screens: Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’. Snyder, who was the original director of the 2017 movie, had said that the 2017 release was very different from his vision for the movie. After all, Snyder had to leave post-production following the unfortunate passing of his daughter and Joss Whedon stepped in to put together the movie. With the ‘Justice League’ being as big as it is – loyal fans of the comic books were not pleased with the movie, giving it a 6.3/10 on IMDb and a mere 40% on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, having successfully campaigned for Warner Bros. to release Snyder’s cut, fans are holding the studios and Snyder to their word to redeem the franchise, it’s characters and the cast (the studio has reportedly forked out a whopping $70 million for the re-edit and reshoots).
When will we finally end this long wait? The movie is set to be available for streaming on HBO Max from Thursday, March 18, 2021.
In a three-part tweet, Snyder teased his “true vision” for the film through what appears to be the rise and fall of the team – and, essentially, his cut of the movie – as he shared images captioned, “Fallen”, “Risen”, and “Reborn”.

The movie has a runtime of around four hours, so make sure you’ve got everything you need to finally enjoy all the corrections to the wrongs that 2017’s ‘Justice League’ made.
