The show must go on!
Katy Perry showed resilience when the butterfly prop she was riding malfunctioned mid-air during her concert in San Francisco, California, on Friday night.
The pop singer, born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, was in the middle of performing her hit song “Roar” on top of the mechanical butterfly, which was flying above the audience, when it suddenly dropped a few feet.
Perry was visibly startled before recomposed herself and continued singing, “and you’re gonna hear me roar!” The butterfly prop continued to fly through the Chase Center arena before setting Perry back on stage.
Kudos to the pop-sensation for remaining calm and professional throughout the whole ordeal!
