Malaysia, a country that people often refer to as ‘truly Asia’ due to its diverse range of ethnicities, cultures, and creeds, has one big problem – racial and ethnic tension.
It’s made worse when a global catastrophe like COVID-19 cripples the country. People start looking for scapegoats; somewhere or someone to pin the blame on.
The first logical point of blame would be the government, or rather, its handling of the pandemic.
