For over ten years, Robert Downey Jr. embodied the role of iconic superhero Tony Stark/Iron Man, which came to an end due to the character’s untimely demise in Avengers: Endgame, sparking the worldwide usage of the phrase “I Love You 3,000”. Tony Stark gave up his life trying to bring back half of the universe who have perished, and his sacrifice touched the hearts of plenty.
But it seems like, even though Robert Downey Jr. has put down the Iron Man armor, he is still not quite done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe…
At San Diego’s Comic-Con over the last weekend, it’s revealed that Robert Downey Jr. has picked up yet another GIANT MCU role — Doctor Doom. Doctor Doom is the longtime adversary of the Fantastic Four, and is an intimidating villain who helms the power of magic and science simultaneously.
Will RDJ grow into his new role? We have high hopes!
