Nicolas Cage Speaks Out About His Appearance in “The Flash”

Nicolas Cage has something to say about his appearance in The Flash.

The actor made a cameo in the DC film, in which he was clad in the iconic red and blue Superman suit. The scene shows multiple versions of Superman across the universe, including one of Cage’s Superman fighting a giant spider — something that Cage said he never filmed.

“When I went to the picture, it was me fighting a giant spider. I did not do that. That was not what I did.”

Cage was supposed to play the mighty Kryptonian in Superman Lives, a film by Tim Burton, that eventually went to the shelves after nearly two-years in pre-production. Regarding the issue, Burton earlier expressed that,

“But also it goes into another AI thing, and this is why I think I’m over it with the studio. They can take what you did, ‘Batman’ or whatever, and culturally misappropriate it, or whatever you want to call it.”

The Flash was directed by Andy Muschietti and stars Ezra Miller as the Barry Allen/The Flash.
