US blogger Perez Hilton is recovering in hospital after emergency services responded to reports from concerned viewers who noticed signs of possible self-harm during one of his TikTok livestreams.
Authorities were called to his Miami home after members of the public alerted them to the situation. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office later confirmed that the individual was safely located and taken to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical care.
Police also confirmed that Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, was alone at his Miami home during the livestream, and his TikTok account was also suspended shortly after the incident.
