Recently, an Estonian man in Vietnam was caught sexually harassing a woman in an elevator. The security footage clearly recorded him slapping the woman’s posterior area.
He was punished of course. With a fine of US$8.60.
At the time, the victim did not want to file a report as she believed it wouldn’t make a difference. She only ended up filing a complaint as she felt unsafe living in the same apartment building as him.
