The Golden Globes Nominations Are In!

Awards season officially kicked off today as the 83rd Golden Globe nominations were announced, sparking an immediate wave of reactions from across Hollywood!

Paul Thomas Anderson’s sweeping epic One Battle After Another emerged as the year’s dominant force, leading all films with nine nominations and solidifying its position as a major awards frontrunner.

Close behind, Ryan Coogler’s daring thriller Sinners landed seven nominations, while Joachim Trier’s intimate Norwegian family drama Sentimental Value impressed with eight—including four in acting categories. Meanwhile, Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein earned five nominations, and Zach Cregger’s Weapons picked up two. Chloé Zhao’s historical feature Hamnet also made a strong showing, scoring six nods in the drama categories.

And not to forget, one of the biggest films this year Wicked: For Good, garnered five nominations, including two for Best Original Song!

On the television side, HBO Max’s The White Lotus led the field with six nominations, and Netflix’s Adolescence followed closely with five, continuing the streamer’s strong awards-season presence.

Adding to the excitement, the viral hit “Golden” from K-Pop Demon Hunters secured a nomination for Best Original Song, marking a standout moment for fans of the global sensation.

The 2026 Golden Globes are due to take place on Sunday, January 11, so watch out for that!
