Thousands celebrate Halloween in Tokyo because COVID-19 apparently took the day off


The annual Halloween festivities in Tokyo tends to be the party of the year. It’s known to characteristically attract a massive crowd where they party the night away on the streets of Shibuya.

Of course, social distancing is out of the question.

Japan has been recording COVID cases averaging around 500-700 a day so by no means are they in the clear yet.
