Videos with vague claims don’t prove anything, says DAP MP

A DAP MP has dismissed a viral video alleging that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is linked to the discreet recording of Sabah politicians connected to the mining scandal.

Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng questioned the authenticity of the claims in the video recorded by controversial businessman Albert Tei, saying the allegations were vague and provided no evidence of anything.

“It is irresponsible and dishonest for anyone to use a doctored clip like this to attack the prime minister. If the accusers truly have facts, they should present real proof and stand by their claims openly. Hiding behind distortion and anonymity says everything about their credibility.
