This long-awaited adaptation of the Broadway musical debuted on Nov 22, and has been a massive box office hit. Wicked‘s record-breaking box office numbers have made it the all-time highest-grossing movie adaptation of a Broadway musical and the third highest-grossing movie of the year at the 2024 domestic box office, falling just behind Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine.
