Malcolm in the Middle was huge in the year 2000, focusing on the comedic dysfunctional family centered around the middle child named Malcolm, who has an IQ of 165. Malcolm and his siblings wreak constant havoc for their parents Lois and Hal, and after ending in 2006, looks like the chaos continues to unfold with the four-episode revival series!
Bryan Cranston, known for his role in Breaking Bad, returns with Jane Kaczmarek as the boys’ long-suffering parents. Frankie Muniz, who reprises his role as Malcolm, said,
“I have been waiting for this moment for 18 years. Let’s find out where Malcolm and his family are now.”
Four new episodes have been commissioned by Disney+, with the premise being based on Malcolm and his daughter being drawn back “into the family’s chaos when Hal (Cranston) and Lois (Kaczmarek) demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party”.
