14 reports filed nationwide over Papagomo’s alleged slander of Anwar
PKR Youth lodged 14 police reports across the country today against political blogger Wan Azri Wan Deris, better known as Papagomo, for allegedly defaming and insulting Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
The head of the wing’s mobilisation bureau, Bariqul Zaman, said the coordinated reports were filed simultaneously at 3pm in all 13 states as well as in the federal territories in response to claims made through the TikTok account @akaun933.
“Today, we lodged a police report, and similar reports were filed simultaneously in 14 states (including the federal territories),” he said at a press conference after filing the report at the Shah Alam police headquarters.
“After this, we will see what action the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission will take against Papagomo.”
