After the firing of Melissa Barrera from Scream VII, it seems it the horror franchise is losing another familiar face.
It’s revealed that Jenna Ortega, who played sisters with Barrera since 2023’s “Scream”, will also not be returning — although it has nothing to do with the latter’s departure.
Ortega, 21, decided to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with the second season of her Netflix series, “Wednesday”, in which she plays the titular character originating from “The Addams Family”.
