We remember the hilarious, family holiday franchise “Home Alone” with an adorable Macaulay Culkin playing Kevin McAllister.
Donald Trump made a brief appearance in the 1992 film in a scene filmed at the Plaza Hotel, which he owned at the time.
Now, according to director Chris Columbus, Mr. Trump insisted on appearing in the film if the hotel is used as a location. But Mr. Trump said the filmmakers were “begging” him to appear.
“I agreed, and the rest is history! That little cameo took off like a rocket and the movie was a big success, and still is, especially around Christmas time,” he said. “People call me whenever it is aired.”
Mr Trump has made dozens of cameo appearances in television series and films including “Sex and the City”, “Zoolander”, “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” and “Two Weeks Notice”.
