Looks like Mickey 17, Bong Joon Ho’s anticipated offering and in collaboration with Robert Pattinson has been pushed to 31st January 2025.
Warner Bros. delayed the sci-fi film further away from its initially scheduled March 29, 2024 release and instead put up Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire in its place. This is to allow more time to finish the project, which was affected due to the strikes and other production shifts.
Bong Joon Ho garnered praise for his film Parasite, a black comedy thriller about social divide between the poor and wealthy. Mickey 17, on the other hand, is a speculative sci-fi involving a man who is sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim.
