Can’t get enough of The Hunger Games books?
Mockingjay, the final book of THG series was released way back in 2010, and the film adaptations of all three books began gracing the screens beginning from 2012 with The Hunger Games starring Jennifer Lawrence. And once all three books have been successfully adapted into films, writer Suzanne Collins gifted us a prequel book titled The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes in 2020, telling the story of how Coriolanus Snow rises to power and the humanity he loses along the way.
And now Collins is cooking up yet another prequel, Sunrise on the Reaping, detailing the Second Quarter Quell, in which Haymitch Abernathy comes out as victor. The book is set to released next year, while a film is already in production, and will be released in 2026.
Welcome to the Second Quarter Quell.
