Agatha All Along, a series about a coven of witches led by the devious Agatha, has come to the end of the Witches’ Road.
This series marks Marvel’s first dark and scary show, which is a spin-off and follow up on the events of WandaVision — which centers on Wanda Maximoff’s trauma and descent into delusion, kidnapping a whole town and bewitching them to live in a fake, fabricated world.
Jac Schaeffer, who created both WandaVision and Agatha All Along, believes it’s best to stop Agatha’s journey right there. According to Patti LuPone, star of Agatha All Along,
“[Schaeffer] said, ‘I don’t do second seasons. They wanted me to do a second season of WandaVision and I didn’t.’ She said, ‘There’s too much to write,’ so she does one-offs.”
But fret not — the Vision series is set to premiere next year, thus continuing the journey of Wanda and her family — and may just feature Agatha too… Stay tuned!
