
Sabah PKR has hit out at Warisan for apparently holding political events amid the floods in various parts of the state.
In a statement, PKR accused Shafie Apdal’s party of prioritising its political agenda over the people’s welfare, when the federal and state governments were focused on helping the victims of floods and landslides over the past week.
“All unity government leaders should be more aware about the plight of the people instead of taking advantage of it with cheap politics for the sake of their selfish interests,” it said.
Sabah PKR said Warisan should not be pointing fingers at the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah-led state government over the state’s issues.
It claimed that Shafie’s tenure in leading the state administration was fraught with “decisions that burdened the rakyat”.
