Gabungan Rakyat Sabah has rejected Sabah Umno’s claim the state government has betrayed Sabahans following a video of a purported meeting between businessman Albert Tei and deputy chief minister Jeffrey Kitingan.

Sabah Umno strategic communications director Rosman Ahir Zaman alleged that the video exposed “the filth of corruption” within GRS, and accused chief minister Hajiji Noor of keeping silent out of fear the video would negatively affect the state’s ruling coalition.

In a statement today, GRS Youth information chief Barhul Sahibu described Rosman’s claim as unfounded political slander and said Sabahans are mature enough to judge GRS for themselves.
