Teen detained for alleged sexual assault on schoolmate
SHAH ALAM:
Police have detained a 14-year-old boy for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl at a school in Sabak Bernam, near here, on Monday.
Sabak Bernam police chief Yusoff Ahmad said the incident, involving a 15-year-old victim, allegedly took place during recess at about 9.30am.
“The arrest was made on the same day at Jalan Parit, Sungai Besar, and the suspect has been remanded for four days from Oct 14,” he said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
