Woman sentenced to year’s jail for posting fake royal marriage cert
A masseuse was sentenced to a year’s jail by the Kuala Lumpur sessions court today for posting a video featuring a fake marriage certificate purportedly of her with a royal family member.
Judge Suhaila Haron imposed the sentence on Persana Avril Sollunda, 43, after the accused changed her plea to guilty during the hearing today.
She ordered Persana to serve her sentence from the date of her arrest on June 18.
Persana was accused of creating and transmitting an image in a video on TikTok through the account @king.charles.ratu, depicting a false marriage certificate between a royal family member and “Crown Princess Ratu Shana” with the intent to harass another person on Feb 25.
