
Selangor menteri besar Amirudin Shari has backed the education ministry’s introduction of a “co-teaching” approach in 2027, which will see two teachers conducting lessons together in one classroom.
He said the state government is optimistic that the approach will help improve the quality of teaching and learning and address challenges faced by schools, but hopes it will first be tested to evaluate its impact, Bernama reported.
“We face various challenges, including infrastructure issues and bullying cases, which require fresh strategies,” he was quoted as saying at the state secretariat building today.
