4 Israelis Caught With ‘Labubu’ Drugs on Koh Phangan

What started as a loud villa party on Koh Phangan ended with four Israelis in handcuffs and Thai police holding up pills shaped like Labubu dolls.

Tourist police raided a luxury house on the island after locals complained about noise and a steady flow of suspicious foreign guests coming and going throughout Friday. When officers moved in, the four men inside tried to bolt. None of them made it very far.

Inside the villa, police found cocaine, ecstasy (MDMA), and a particularly dangerous polydrug known in the party scene as “candy.” The pills were moulded to look like Labubu, the popular designer toy. Cute on Instagram, lethal in real life.
