Tokyo-based construction technology company, V3D Asia, is set to break ground on Malaysia’s first-ever 3D-printed luxury bungalow this November.
Through its Malaysian subsidiary, Nuvah Sdn Bhd, V3D Asia plans to develop the bungalow at the Gentlebre Precinct of Eco Majestic in Semenyih, Selangor using locally sourced materials.

Using a gantry-based concrete printing system, the house will be built one concrete layer at a time, with a single 12-hour shift able to produce up to 500mm of vertical rise.
While this method might seem a little slow, Nuvah says it allows for continuous, unbroken wall structures and curved building forms with minimal use of formwork and wet trades.
