Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is returning to where it all began- the WWE ring.
Although it’s been years since The Rock left the WWE world , today the actor made an announcement on social media that he will be making a comeback this week.
FINALLY…I come back home to my @WWE universe.
This FRIDAY NIGHT, I’ll return for our debut of SMACKDOWN!

“FINALLY…I come back home to my @WWE universe,” Johnson posted on his Twitter. “This FRIDAY NIGHT, I’ll return for our debut of SMACKDOWN! There’s no greater title than #thepeopleschamp.
“And there’s no place like home. Tequila on me after the show.”
Adding on to the good news, The Rock won’t be the only person returning to the ring; the star will be joined by Kurt Angle, Lita, Mick Foley, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Trish Stratus, Goldberg, Jerry Lawler, Mark Henry, Ric Flair and Sting.
