If you’re a 2000s kid, then you probably remember the cult classic movie The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D.
The beloved heroes are set to make a comeback! Director Robert Rodriguez recently announced that Sharkboy and Lavagirl will return for his new Netflix movie called We Can Be Heroes.
Taylor Dooley and Taylor Lautner are set to reprise their roles as Sharkboy and Lavagirl.
And the two are parents now!
The upcoming film is about 11 children of superheroes, including Sharkboy and Lavagirl’s daughter, who goes on a mission to save the world after their parents are kidnapped.

Priyanka Chopra and Pedro Pascal will also star in the film.  Pascal is set to play the “Antonio Banderas–type role,” Rodriguez said.
We Can Be Heroes does not have a release date yet.
